Shop Policies

It’s not the most glam thing to talk about shop policies, but someone’s gotta do it!

Here are a few good things to know:

Tool purchases- there are instructions for transfer paper use on the back of your thank you note-follow them and you’ll have great success! Make sure you’re using clean, well conditioned clay  I recommend sculpey premo or Cernit. I cannot be held responsible for user error-I can assure you the transfers are created using high quality inks and processes that result in beautiful, vibrant results when used as directed.

Our cutters are created with thin, but strong blades for a clean cut. Adhere your clay to baking surface, dust with baby powder or cornstarch to avoid sticking. Do not use hot water or heat of any kind on the cutters. Clean with soapy water and a soft bristle toothbrush as needed. As with all cutter brands, some details are small and fragile, use your cutter gently and avoid excessive pressure. I cannot be held responsible for damage to your cutters due to improper use.

Overseas customers-I have no way of knowing what tariffs/duties/fees may be incurred upon delivery of your package. You are responsible for paying all fees/import taxes/ etc once your package arrives in your country. Shipping cost includes tracking and insurance only-it does not cover any additional fees.

Your handmade creations are made with so much love by me, and I stand behind their quality, beauty, and aesthetic. I never ship something off that I’m not truly proud of. I am confident in the strength and look of all my pieces that I sell. Due to this, I will ensure that your item should not break or become damaged with normal wear. If within 30 days, something should happen (a hook breaks, a pieces falls off etc) that was not due to negligence, I will work with you to come up with a suitable solution. After 30 days, I will no longer be held responsible for returns or replacements. However, if you lose an earring or otherwise damage one and I’m able to offer a replacement piece, we can work together on a solution for a replacement.

Unfortunately, I cannot control the mail! If I could, you’d have your precious new pieces in seconds, but as it stands, once I carefully package your item and drop it off with the lovely postal service worker and provide your tracking number, I can no longer be held responsible for what happens to it. Occasionally, USPS misplaces packages (I’ve never had them lose one completely) and they may take longer to get to you than either of us would like! In that case, I will open a…case (haha) with USPS, and you should too. Your package will come insured up to $100 and if something should happen and they lose your package, they will reimburse you. I will do everything I can to help you with that process, but I cannot remake or replace items that USPS loses.

Please inspect your items to ensure their quality once they arrive. After 5 days of the package arriving to you, I will no longer replace/be held responsible for anything that may have been damaged in shipping. Similarly, if you decide the size isn’t for you please let me know within 5 days so we can figure out a solution. In instances of changing your mind, you will be responsible for shipping the piece back to me in the same manner it was shipped to you if you would like a refund.

Thanks for your understanding and cooperation with these policies!
